Port Ludlow Digital Village

Imagine...
Viewing a calendar showing only those events and meetings you are interested in along with your personal calendar and to do list.
Receiving a daily email telling you about the events and meetings that you have asked to be notified about. We need all the help we can get with our memories! THINK IRON MOUNTAIN QUARRY!!
Going online and “clipping” local merchant coupons.
Being able to take a quick survey or get anecdotal information about a special topic of interest to our community or your organization. THINK IRON MOUNTAIN QUARRY!!
Accessing a community-wide phone directory that is never out of date.
Seeing a “virtual page” for every club, group, association, service group, and merchant in the community, allowing interaction among members
Being part of a new all-inclusive communication system that adds value to our community and property.
Well….
Local residents Dave Pike and Dean Mosier are exploring the possibility of bringing this new technology to Port Ludlow. This is an internet based system that essentially creates a new way for all elements of the community to exchange information in an interactive website. This "digital village" has room for every club, organization, community service group, health service organization, merchant, homeowner association, etc. to post information for the community at large as well as their own constituents. Residents will have the ability to create a personal calendar with only the events they are interested in. They will also be able to print coupons made available from merchants who choose to advertise via this site. Use of the site would be free to residents and community service organizations.
This website is dedicated to the premise that the lives of Port Ludlow residents will be enriched by the creation of a "digital village." If you would like to understand in more detail the working of this web based application and/or would like to follow our implementation progress, feel free to join us on our journey.
